Over the years, we have received valuable advice from many of our customers, enabling us to develop a wide variety of merchandise, including safe and hygienic protection devices for industrial use, equipment to improve the environment, health and medical devices, electrical measuring instruments, office uniforms, and special clothes for industrial use. We have had the honor of helping to improve workers’ welfare in Japan.
Along with the structural changes that occurred in the post-war industrial society, the requirements related to safety and hygiene have changed drastically.
To respond to these needs, Midori Anzen is determined, as an industry pioneer, to develop specialized technologies and new merchandise by manufacturing high-quality products and providing excellent customer service, technical, and sales support.

COMPANY HISTORY
1952: Midori Anzen Co., Ltd. was established (originally as Midori Saigai Bogu Co., Ltd.), becoming a comprehensive manufacturer of safety and hygiene equipment.
1963: Formed an apparel department in collaboration with Kurabo Industries Ltd., starting the production and sales of uniforms and workwear.
1964: Constructed a safety-shoe factory in Ishikawa-machi, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
1968: Completed the Tokyo Factory in Soka City, Saitama Prefecture, and commenced operations. Hokuyo Co., Ltd. was added to the Midori Anzen Group as a leather tanning division. Also established the Environmental Equipment Division and began manufacturing equipment to improve the environment, including air cleaners for factories.
1994: Initiated production of an original helmet at Midori Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
1995: Completed the Soka Technical Center in Soka City, Saitama Prefecture.
1997: Established Shanghai Midori Anzen Trading Co., Ltd. in China.
2006: Began production of leather seats for automobiles in Mexico.
2008: Formed Lao Midori Safety Shoes Co., Ltd. in Laos.
2009: Completed a new head office building and established MAV (Midori Apparel Vietnam Co., Ltd.) in December.
2011: Established MIDORI ANZEN (Thailand).
2012: Established Midori Safety Footwear Vietnam.
2017: Won the Grand Prize at the 2017 Eco Mark Award.
2018: Established MIDORI AUTO LEATHER GERMANY.
2023: Completed the 2nd head office building in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Establishing the sales department of Midori Anzen Vietnam Limited Liability Company, and officially commencing direct sales in Vietnam from June 2023.
